Easter long weekend 2017

Easter Sunday

sunny 27 °C

Happy Easter ๐Ÿฐ from the trippin' bunnies! The Easter bunny found the kids ok .. phew!
Had coffee and chocolate for breakfast haha, Amy disappeared and made friends with some local harness racing owners who work their horse here every morning.
Took the kids for a drive to the sparkly rock river we found last weekend... was good fun exploring and the dogs enjoyed their swim ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ
Scenery was so beautiful , can never get enough of the country.
Saw a horse on the side of a hill, he was a farm horse but clearly adventurous! Not sure his mum will be very happy when she sees him imitating a goat!! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ there must be something tasty growing up there hehe
Explored a few roads... between Grantham and Clifton, found a broken down point of interest, unfortunately we couldn't get up to it cos the bottom of the stairs had been washed away.
Came back to camp to find all the ducks off the island sitting around our camp site lol no pic because I was not quick enough lol
Blair did some more carving and made a spear... then went over to the lake with bread and his spear ๐Ÿ˜ณhaha shut that down quick smart!
Amy rode Blairs bike all afternoon between taking the dogs around the Showgrounds to say hi to all her new friends.
In the way to the shower.. Amy says to me 'mum, I know all the people staying here, and all the old ones cos I run into them when I'm walking the dogs' Hahahaha
Then she proceeded to tell me the story of the people with the cat in the lead that she helped catch haha
Dinner was wonderful again!
After dinner we experimented with a bottle and a torch to make different lighting haha the kids loved it!
After showers, Amy had her dressing changed on her cut. It looks good but was a candidate for sutures or glue ๐Ÿ™ˆ
To top the day off.... Lady Gaga released a new single!!! It is awesome ๐Ÿ˜ƒBedtime!!
Don't really want to go home tomoz, have had a wonderful time!
